Telephone companies make me emo

Last Wednesday, our phone line unfortunately went down, followed two days later by our Internet connection. Needless to say we were somewhat dismayed. I won't go into details because the whole thing was rather convoluted but basically we got knocked off because the telephone company had the wrong address and upon calling them found out they really didn't care to rectify the situation. We thought this was pretty stink and said, righto we're switching phone companies then.

Unfortunately this also meant that our ISP had to set up a new connection which in and of itself takes several days. Even more unfortunately, this turned into near on one week due to an idiot at the ISP sending the connection order to our old phone company. Not only had our old phone company still not changed the address to the correct one but funnily enough, sending a connection order to a phone company we no longer have an account with doesn't result in an Internet connection. And now you're saying to yourself, didn't you say you wouldn't go into details? Let me assure you that this is indeed the short version!

At any rate, we now have Internet back but our phone woes aren't completely sorted yet but hopefully will be in the next few days. Sorry to those of you who had trouble contacting us over the past week or so but we are back on track now!
